About Jackie:

Jackie Lipson (they/them) is your new BFF. A rising Pop artist out of LA, their soulful vocal paired with ethereal melodies, honest lyrics and magnetic stage performance are carving a space in the current musical landscape. A central theme of Jackie’s songwriting and life is identity. Queer, Non-Binary, Neurodivergent, Jewish, Femme, Fat – Jackie faced the life-long challenge of finding community. Eventually Jackie found a home in the NYC Queer scene – you could meet them at The Cubbyhole every weekend (probably most weeknights). The City sparked curiosity and Jackie began to direct this energy into performing original music in venues around Manhattan and Brooklyn.

In 2016 Jackie packed up their things and relocated to Los Angeles. They have performed at notable venues like The Peppermint Club, The Echo and The Mercury Lounge in NYC. Artists who’ve shared the bill include Rebecca Black, Evangelía and Grouptherapy. Jackie’s writing is influenced by the vulnerability and raw emotion of 90s and early 2000s Indie/Pop-Rock. Their debut single Someday has amassed 1.4M streams and counting. You can hear their songwriting and voice in the new Nickelodeon Monster High: Soundtrack to the Animated Series and Sparked to Life Music Video. Jackie will be kicking off LA Pride 2023 at The Troubadour in West Hollywood alongside The Beginners, Tomi and Emma Louise.
